Join a snowshoe adventure

Snow day!

Children took advantage of a rare snow day Tuesday and headed for the hills, sleds and snowboards in hand.


Above, with a little push from mom, Maggie Scanlon heads down the slope. Below, although school was not in session, the day proved to be an educational experience for several sledders as to the effects of single-digit temperatures on plastic.
