Pendleton wins Hustlers' Run

Tony Papol singles to left field in the bottom of the seventh inning, driving in Zack Myers (foreground) from second base for an 8-7 victory for the Pendleton 12u team and the championship of the Hustlers Run baseball tournament Sunday evening. The loss dropped the Hermiston 12u team to the second spot. Earlier in the day, the Pendleton Black Sox used a walk-off 3-run home run by Jack Peterson to defeat Pilot Rock for third place.

Hustlers' Run this weekend

The Pendleton Hustlers baseball team will be hosting a 12U baseball tournament this weekend at the Little League fields. Teams from Pendleton, Hermiston and Pilot Rock will be competing from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
