Quiznos ends season on a high note

The Pendleton Quiznos fifth grade AAU basketball team completed their season by claiming the championship of the 2009 Walla Walla YMCA Shootout, February 13-15. In the process of winning their second consecutive tournament, Quiznos earned an additional sense of accomplishment by defeating several teams they had lost to in previous tournaments.

Quiznos rules the Valley

The Pendleton Quiznos fifth grade AAU basketball team swept through the 16th annual Grand Ronde Valley Shootout with a 5-0 record. In winning the tournament in La Grande, February 7-8, 2009, Quiznos allowed their opponents an average of only 11 points a game .

Quiznos takes 2nd in 1st Mustang tournament

The Pendleton Quiznos fifth grade AAU basketball team fell to a sixth grade team from Irrigon in the championship game of the inaugural Mustang New Year's Tournament in Heppner, January 3-4, 2009. Quiznos' 36-32 loss spoiled their bid for a perfect 6-0 record and left them in second place.

Quiznos triumphs at Oregon Prep tourney

The Pendleton Quiznos fifth grade AAU basketball team claimed the top spot at the Oregon Prep Basketball tournament in Vancouver, Washington, December 13-14, 2008. They compiled a 3-1 record, avenging their only loss by beating Portland-area Team Concept in the championship game.
